Our mission? Designing and crafting a bar that seamlessly melded with the lodge's Afrocentric charm while infusing it with a dash of contemporary flair.
Embarking on this daring fitting, our main challenge was conquering the clocks relentless tick, with a mere 11 days to transform an empty space in to a fully functioning bar. To add a dash of adventure, the nearest hardware store was located in the town of Thabazimbi, a spirited drive of an hour and a half away.
Crafted with cunning precision, every segment of the bar was ingeniously fashioned for deconstruction and reassembly, bypassing the need for unnecessary machining. Our intrepid team, undeterred by scorching 39 degree heat, worked ceaselessly for 11 days. From crack-of-dawn starts to late night endeavours, they turned the fitting around with smiles on their faces. The culmination is testament to the unwavering dedication and meticulous attention to detail that define our team's dedication to our craft.
